We love this handy little softshell jacket from reliable Didriksons. The smooth outer fabric is water repellent and 100% PFC free. There’s a full length zip with chin guard to protect little faces and a handy zipped pocket for treasure storage. The hood has reflective strips on for safety and is detachable. The best bit is the brightly coloured neon yellow lining which is made from the softest of short, velvet like fleece. This is great ‘in-between’ jacket for outdoor fun or can be used as a robust layer in cold weather. Seen here in smart Navy, complimenting the lining – it is also available in funky fuchsia.
Pip says: Only a lifejacket has the ability to turn someone the right way up in the water – buoyancy aids do not! Make sure you choose the right equipment for your child. Buoyancy aids should only be worn by children who can swim.RNLI guide to fitting a child's lifejacket
