We’ve been following and supporting Jess Lloyd-Morsten and her beautiful family on board s/v ADAMASTOR a South African built 42ft Bermudan sloop Lavranos Crossbow. Jess, James, Rocket and Indigo are currently moored up in New Zealand and about to set off again on their adventures in May and we’re proud that Nipper Skipper are collaborating with them on their travels.
Jess, an active sailing journalist and photographer, has written another insightful piece on taking children on extended cruising and what it’s like to bring up a family on a boat. This time she’s writing in New Zealand Boating Magazine – New Zealand’s No.1 boating publication. We’ve supplied Adamastor’s younger crew with Nipper Skipper kit, helping them to remain dry and protected from the elements – rain or shine. Jess has said how much she loves the quality and practicality of the waterproofs in particular and has listed them under her ‘Products that work’ listing. We couldn’t agree more! Our Didirksons’ Nera set is keeping little Rocket warm and dry on her boat whilst sailing in the Southern seas.
Jess and James (originally from UK) have a fantastic website packed with information, ideas and useful details – www.water-log.com We’d highly recommend that you take a look – even if you’re planning on taking little ones on board – whether it’s for a day trip or a long term cruising experience. The advice is sound, sensible and relaxed – just what’s needed to ensure safe, family fun.
